Our Story

I am highly passionate and relational – an empathetic friend, partner, parent, colleague, and leader. Leading with transparency and vulnerability allows me to go deeper faster and engage with others in a way to help people feel seen and supported. It is how I show up as a friend, colleague, mentor and ally.

I am a part of a richly multicultural, multiracial, and multilingual family, with an extended fiercely supportive tribe. The work I do professionally is as much a reflection of my life, as my life is enriched by my work. This means deep conversations — around the dinner table and the board room — about identity, culture, and ways to drive change.

With over 15 years of experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across diverse organizations, I've dedicated my career to driving transformative change.

Which means, I focus on:

  • Behavioral Change: Coaching individuals to enhance their cultural intelligence.

  • Systemic Change: Identifying root causes to design more inclusive systems.

I have lived and worked in more than 15 U.S. cities – West Coast, East Coast, Midwest, South and Texas; with extensive global travel (calling Panama my second home country). These experiences have cultivated a first-hand understanding of global / regional cultural and social norms that impact how we all interact with one another. It also enables me to find common ground with a wide range of people.

I am a proud first-generation college graduate with a B.A. in History from UCLA, and a M.A. in Speech/Interpersonal Communication from NYU. Note: we often cover our identities as first-gen college graduates, when it actually is an example of our grit and resilience.

A professed explorer of food, lover of the arts, avid traveler, and global citizen.
